Got this 40oz cup to take to work with me to work. Pretty awesome.
The photo makes the issue very clear. The handle is on the left, while the flip-up spout opens directly opposite it, so you can’t naturally hold the handle and drink at the same time. You end up gripping the body of the cup instead, which defeats the purpose of having such a large handle.

I honestly don’t understand this design. The handle is on one side, but the flip-up spout opens on the opposite side. That means every time I want to drink, I have to let go of the handle and grab the body of the cup instead. For a tumbler that costs around $50, this feels like a major design flaw. The handle should make it easier to drink, not become useless whenever you take a sip. I’m really disappointed because the quality is great, but the ergonomics completely missed the mark.
I absolutely love my new Stanley, my only issue is that the lid doesn’t line up equal to the handle like my last one did. And it drives me and my OCD crazy.
